Fees/Insurance

The fee for the initial consultation is $100.00. During that consultation a sustainable ongoing fee will be discussed and set in mutual agreement. The fee is based on the time reserved.

I am credentialed (in-network) with the major managed-care companies. If using insurance benefits is an important consideration for treatment, I recommend for clients to check with their insurance plan and have the plan verify my status as in-network provider. In this case the fee will be discounted as per the contracted rate.

For clients who have out-of-network benefits (POS plans) statements of payments will be provided which can be submitted to insurance plans for reimbursement.

NOTE: Insurance plans typically do not reimburse for telephone services.

For plans which require authorization, complete confidentiality of clinical information can also not be guaranteed due to the authorization/billing process. At minimum, insurance reimbursement requires a formal diagnosis to be disclosed.
